I used to shop here a lot for shoes for any occasion, or just browse the clearance racks for summer shoes or heels if I didn’t have a specific shoe I was shopping for. I used a $15 (off of anything) VIP reward to buy a pair of Sperry’s two years ago and my order was canceled without an explanation. Instead of putting back the unused $15 to my account for buying something else, I was given a 20% off discount as a consolation (they’re not the same discount). I sent an email to customer service and never received a response back. I stopped shopping at DSW that same day, 2 years ago.

We can usually find what we’re looking for, and if your size isn’t in stock they can order it and ship it directly to your house, which is really convenient. Service is actually solid for a shoe store—helpful when you need it without being pushy.

They are more interested in following you around and treat you as if you’re doing something wrong than ensuring friendly costumer service. I won’t be coming back as this was a very unpleasant experience. If you have a certain “look” best believe you’ll be having all eyes on you during your shopping experience here
