  Unfortunately no matter how nice as the staff might have been, the service was disappointing. I had a pair of jeans to get tailored and I thought it would be so simple for them to do, nothing major. The first time I went in, I had an exchange to do in addition to getting the pants tailored. When I went to pick the jeans up two weeks later, the jeans were cropped too much and when I said that I didn’t like them, the tailor just shrugged, like oh well. And he actually said, “I can’t make them any longer” and walked away. I am not a difficult customer and I really tried to be okay with the awkward length. But upon closer inspection, the two pants legs weren’t even the same length. One pant leg was off by a quarter inch. Thankfully they had another pair in my size which they had to start from scratch. I again waited two weeks and just picked them up. I had specifically requested to keep the original hem which the first time they did, but not the second time. The pant legs were even this time, thank God. But again, not the hem that I asked for. And now there are rips and one obvious scissor cut in the pants. I don’t know what to say, an amateur would have done a better job. Not only did I have to go out of my way to make an extra trip, wait over a month to get my pants back, but they can’t even handle a simple hem. Unfortunately I won’t be back which is too bad. They have a large inventory.

  The black female salesperson, Clover, was standing around so I asked if she could help me check out, and she responded that because she didn’t help me choose the items, whoever originally helped me would have to complete the purchase as well. But that original salesperson was busy with other customers so I had to wait 15 minutes even though Clover just stood around after refusing to help me. This was shocking. What made the experience worse was the overall attitude and demeanor. She came across as dismissive and unwilling to help from the start. I noticed that she selectively addressed other customers politely with “sir” and “ma’am,” while responding to me with short, dismissive “uh-huh”s. The contrast in how she treated different customers was very noticeable and disrespectful. I sure would hope Clover was not trained to act this way. The store should train their employees to provide at least minimum respect to customers. I will not be returning here.

  Purchased a $1700 dress and had it altered a 1/2 inch. I didn’t receive a call when alterations were finished. I had to chase it down. Then when I was finally able to pick it up, it arrived in this poor condition. I understand this review will not stop us from shopping here, but we should know what we will be getting. Thank you for the plastic bag and plastic hanger. It’s going to last in the heritage collection.

  I visited this location on Sunday and had a positive experience working with sales professional Kayla. She was patient, willing to help me find what I needed, enthusiastic, and attentive without being pushy (that's why I spent more on that visit !). She anticipated my needs with a smile, and genuine kindness even though the store was extremely busy with customers. She offered me refreshment, and allowed me to browse at my own pace, all and all she did everything to make my shopping experience a pleasant one. I think the prior glowing reviews speak for themselves, I will be sure to visit this location again in the future, To Kayla, David, and the team at the RL Georgetown store, Thank You...

  I called the Georgetown store looking for the Slub Denim Western Shirt as a birthday gift for my son. It was sold out online, so really had no expectations- but Ali answered and knew immediately which shirt I was referencing and said he’d look around and boy did he come up aces! The perfect size and expedited shipping, really could not ask for a better experience! The store itself is a gem in Georgetown and I highly recommend seeing the wares in person. 5 stars!
