  Edited Down to 1 Star: I bought pants at this location, and Lululemon hemming services permanently damaged the pants, cutting off several inches from the hem. I brought the pants back for an exchange. Becca at the counter said that it could addressed according to the Lulu quality promise. Becca spent most of the time looking away during our initial interaction and appearing bitter about it. That alone wasn’t the problem. Communication styles are different. More importantly, she also seemed uninquisitive about solving the problem. Becca then asked if I wanted to an exchange. I said that I indeed did. She asked whether I wanted to exchange them today. I said so. She then gave a look of being either bothered or incredulous and told me that clothing needed to be brought “in a bag” in order to be eligible for an exchange. I could not find a company policy stating this. She was joined by another team member, an apparent manager who was similarly disinterested, who stated that in order to exchange clothing damaged by lululemon’s tailors, the customer would be responsible for taking those clean clothes, laundering them, and bringing them back at a later time, even if they were in spotless condition. Note that I was already making a trek to visit this location, bringing these pants that lululemon’s tailors had ruined, and being told I would need to bring them for laundering and then bring them back so that lululemon could repurpose or post-process them. I asked for a phone number or resource to verify or learn more about such a policy. Becca and her colleague pointed me to a Lulu company number on the counter. She kept covering it repeatedly with her arms as I tried to type it down. I spoke with lululemon customer service in detail, and they could not part of the “Quality Promise” that stated this requirement, namely that it is on the customer to help lululemon wash clothing in the case of clothes that were just hemmed and destroyed by lululemon’s own contractors—so that lululemon can collect those clothing for resale or other processes. On a separate occasion, one employee at the front desk told me that an article could not be ordered and made some political lamentations. A few minutes later, another team member did simply place the order, and I was out the door, left with very inconsistent statements from staff. This was a bewildering experience and is an alarming sign about the overall competence at this location.

  Not a good customer service experience at this location. The staff were not friendly, and I was left waiting for quite a while just to pay for my items. One checkout till was available, and the store wasn't busy, but the employees seemed more focused on chatting with each other than helping customers. Very disappointing.

  The manager declined to issue a refund to my credit card because the item was purchased more than 30 days ago. She explained that this is the store’s policy and mentioned that she did review my purchase history. Unfortunately, it is disappointing that the company does not appear to place greater value on returning customers. Policies like this can negatively affect the customer experience and may lead customers to consider other brands, such as Alo.
