  I went to this location today to buy a new pair of boots and have an existing pair repaired. I pointed out that the heel pull tab/pull loop had torn off and asked if they could help me. I was told that my best bet was to find a cobbler. They didn't ask how long I'd been wearing the boots, or if I had a warranty, or where I got the boots, and they didn't offer any contact information for Doc Martens corporate or suggest a cobbler in the area. Because of how dismissive they were at the store, I didn't buy a new pair-- not that they asked if they could help me with finding one, or ask if they could help me with *anything* else, for that matter. What's the point of having a brick and mortar location if customers are treated so poorly?

  We we t into the store just looking around not expecting anything crazy, but we ended up having a spectacular experience with the manager Robert and his co worker Kelly. They not only helped us pick out a wonderfull pair of boots gor my best friend but gave us an engaging experience and conversation. Thank you so much for making our day and wishing us luck for collage!

  10/10 experience there. Wouldn't even call it a shopping experience. Went in knowing exactly what I wanted, just needing to try out sizes. They didn't have the color I was looking for, but instead of saying they didn't have it and leaving it at that, the awesome human being there brought out his favorite color in stock so I could see it in person. Absolutely loved the color-- never would have known it was available if not for coming in. Had a great conversation, and he pointed me to great spots in the neighborhood (the riverfront area and the Exorcist stairs)! I wish I'd gotten his name-- it's a testament to the people at this store that the reviews mention so many great staff. Feels like a proper neighborhood institution. I'll definitely be coming back in the winter for boots. I highly recommend this store!
