  Paying for the privilege of pretension is my idea of low-class. Needed a specific nail color and called to see if they carried it. They did but the salesguy’s suckup phone mannerism was a bit off-putting and was an indicator of things to come. Couldn’t come by that afternoon but dropped by the next day. Because I didn’t have an appointment I was told to get in line. Forget it. I’m an ex-Manhattanite and a writer who has been published in Conde Nast. My advice: you feel very insecure about yourself and need validation by a random Chanel employee, pay them a visit. They are sure to please.

  I came here for my birthday and made an appointment to discover the new collection and see pieces of ready to wear, handbags, shoes and so on. However, when I got there the sales associate who I had the appointment with was busy, so I got another sales associate that goes by Mia or Mila. She was awful, right off the bat she tells their new collection is not coming until next week and I was like “okay, well what can I see here in the store I made an appointment” and since it was my first time at this Chanel boutique I expected a more personable service such as asking me what bags I liked and showing whatever newer bags or popular items in store. Instead, she tells me that what I see around the store is what they have and I don’t need to make an appointment I can just walk in. I explained to her my confusion and she didn’t seem to care. This was not at all what I expected and I was very disappointed. I left shortly after and got an email to schedule another appointment since they missed me, but I won’t return to this location.

  Got the newest Chanel 25 matte from this location. Staff is always a bit taciturn but considering the level of professionalism warmth and genuine customer care in DC, I prefer it. Come here to shop in peace for an extra special treat.

  The security staff were very kind and the best part of the store. The sales associate was rude and judgemental. If it wasnt for us being in a time crunch i wouldve made my purchase at the Tysons location instead. Advoid if you can.

  Update - NYC boutique exchanged it and the sales associate offer to exchange as well. I found the bag is defect after I open the box when I got home. It’s within 14 days of purchase. I reached out to the sales associate but received no response. I've since returned to NYC, and the boutique here has been unable to advise on the exchange procedure. This has been a very inconvenient experience.
