  I had a very negative experience at the front counter with Sarah. The store had made an error, and rather than offering a solution, Sarah immediately became defensive and spoke to me in an accusatory tone. I ultimately had to ask to speak with management because I did not feel the situation was being handled professionally. I’ve visited Plato’s Closet before and have always received pleasant and helpful customer service from the staff, which made this experience especially disappointing. Unfortunately, Sarah’s approach to the situation really missed the mark.

  Visited Plato’s Closet South Windsor on Saturday, June 20, and had a very disappointing experience. Three customers repeatedly bumped into us in the aisle without saying “excuse me.” While I was looking at a purse, a worker with bangs immediately took the bag off the shelf, brought it to the back, and said, “This is cute,” which felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. Throughout our visit, she was making unpleasant facial expressions toward my friend and me. We also were not greeted or welcomed when we entered the store. Overall, the atmosphere felt very uninviting, and I expected better customer service.

  The staff is so professional here! This location has the best brands. I'll be here once a week from now on! Love it.
