Founded in Vancouver BC in 1998, the first lululemon shared its retail space with a yoga studio. We've been growing ever since, and our technical yoga and run clothes are now available in countries all over the world. We want to elevate the world from mediocrity to greatness. Our Mission Statement is to create components for people to live longer, healthier, fun lives. We make technical athletic apparel for yoga, dancing, and most other sweaty pursuits.

- JMJohn MaleyMay 21, 20261.0Walked in, the lady at the front greeted me very nicely, and directed me towards what I was looking for. I was the only person in the store. The other person working there hovered over me like a hawk, just watching me shop. Was made to feel so uncomfortable I wound up leaving and ordering clothes online. Being absolutely haunted while shopping is a great way to scare off customers and probably contributes to why retail is dying. For reference I was already wearing lululemon shorts and jacket, clearly a repeat customer, maybe it’s due to the fact I’m a bit larger than their average customer, i’m also white and can’t even imagine how they treat minorities. I’m not sure what their deal was but certainly won’t be back.

When I came in for an exchange, both employees there thought my friend and I were stealing, like, literally came in to exchange, and she was gonna buy something, but after that we just got the exchange, and she bought it online.

When I bought them the website clearly states I could return for free online OR in-store. In January, employees in the store told my wife and me, separately, that they couldn’t process the return in store. I started the return process online right in front of them and the website asked me if I wanted to return online OR in-store. I showed this to the employee and they still refused to process the return in store. Awful customer service.
