  I’ve shopped at this store many times in the past, but unfortunately, today was the day that stopped. I came in with several items I wanted to sell, and as I started taking them out, I was immediately told by a young employee, “We don’t take high-end because we have no way to authenticate it.” What was disappointing was that she didn’t even look at the items or ask whether I had receipts or documentation to verify the purchases. For example, I brought in a pair of Gucci sneakers with the original receipt in the box, along with everything intact from the original purchase at Saks. I also had several long-sleeve polos and shirts from Burberry, Ralph Lauren, and Banana Republic. One of the reasons I specifically wanted to sell my items here was to support a local business. Unfortunately, I left feeling dismissed before I was even given an opportunity to show what I had. I hope the owners will consider retraining staff on how to approach situations like this. Even if the store ultimately decides not to accept certain items, there is a much more welcoming and professional way to communicate that with a customer. What a disappointing experience, and what feels like a huge loss for this location. After being a longtime customer, I won’t be returning.

  I went to try and sell clothes here. Things like pajama sets, hollister, urban, all for them to reject everything. I browsed while I waited and they don’t even have a great stock of anything. I was very surprised considering I brought in things that they were asking for on their Instagram. Very disappointed.

  Staff were polite and welcoming and I've shopped at this Plato's Closet before. I figured it'd be nice to try and sell my clothes after purging my closet. Out of 4 bags of clothing, staff only took one pair of pants. Stating that all other items are old and outdated. The items in those 4 bags were no different than a lot of the junk they had on the racks, some of it higher quality garments than what was in store. They had H&M, American Eagle, Pacsun, & Old Navy. All similar brands & items to what I brought in. Don't waste your time here. You're better off just giving your old clothing to their competitors or selling it yourself online.

  Brand new Nike sneakers 3 brand new purses in great condition inside and out. A ton of clothes for teens . Corsets crop tops all fitting the requirement brands and I’m a teen so my stuff was not too old or outdated jeans Nike pros etc . Refused almost all of my stuff except for my purses, my shoes and total 10 items offered me 39 dollars . This place is awful . Prices to purchase are cheap because they are cheap scammers . Do not sell your stuff here . After they refused my items they put it in a pile of everyone’s shit and told me to go find it . Absolutely disgusting. Never ever again .

  Dropped off clothes for assessment and was not notified via text that my order was ready for pickup. Next day was told I needed to pick up clothes by EOD or they would be considered donations since leaving clothes overnight was not accepted (no one made this clear). Disappointing experience- would rather donate clothes
