- PSPranav SharmaJul 18, 20261.0If I could give this location zero stars, I would. I stopped by this store near Westfarms Mall and experienced the absolute worst retail customer care I’ve ever seen. The sales floor was a disorganized mess, and when I politely asked a staff member for help finding a pair of shoes in my size, she acted like I was personally ruining her day. She huffed, rolled her eyes, and walked away without even looking. When I tried to check out, the cashier was incredibly rude and seemed determined to argue with me over a promotion, aggressively pushing their rewards program. Spoke to the manager and she acted as if I asked her some or her personal stuff. Modern retail is already an awful, impersonal experience, but DSW takes it to a new level. Calling their corporate customer care number is entirely useless—you'll just sit on hold for an hour to speak to someone who doesn't care. Save yourself the headache and buy your shoes anywhere else! Very unprofessional and terrible customer service. PLEASE DONT GO THERE. I was able to find the same shoes for my daughter at less prices at other nearby stores.
