Plato's Closet buys and sells gently used clothing, shoes, sneakers, accessories and athletic wear for teens and young adults in Enfield. Sell styles you no longer wear for cash on the spot, or shop thrifted, secondhand, and resale fashion, including trendy, brand-name styles for less. With 500+ independently owned and operated locations across the U.S. and Canada, fresh inventory arriving daily, Plato's Closet makes thrifting easy, affordable, and more sustainable.
Rudest employees ever. They lack serious customer service skills. They don’t greet you, they don’t say anything at the register when it’s time to pay and they roll their eyes and mumble when asked any questions. They made me feel extremely unwelcome like they were annoyed I was in the store. I’ve been there multiple times and never had an experience bad enough that I wanted to actually leave a review. Usually the girls are pretty nice. The 2 I saw today I’ve never seen before and I hope to never see them again.

The first employee I interacted with was very kind and helpful since it was my first time there. Unfortunately, the second interaction completely changed the experience. The staff was dismissive, rude, and spoke as if I was supposed to already understand their entire process.
What really confused me is that your website says you buy brand name clothing and that you’re not “just another donation place.” I brought Zara, Abercrombie, Aerie jeans, Kate Spade bags, gala dresses, and multiple brand new items with tags. Everything was clean, quality pieces, no stains, no damage, and some items were only worn once. I’m literally a clothing boutique owner, so I know the difference between quality inventory and random worn out clothes.
Meanwhile, the only things accepted were some of the cheapest items I brought. Then I was told I could “just donate” the rest. Suggesting I donate expensive bags and high quality clothing honestly felt insulting and unprofessional. Very disappointing experience overall.

These girls lack basic customer service skills and were kinda rude (especially the brunette at the register). It’s not worth the 10-20 bucks that they’re going to offer… don’t bother

Found some great clothes and great brands! Staff was very friendly. Not sure why everyone seems to have a problem with this location. Prices were very reasonable and I overall had a seamless experience.

Brought clothes to sell. They took clothes that the other Plato's in W Spfld didn't take. And the staff was so much nicer here too.
