  Plato’s Closet Danbury is a great place to shop for trendy, name-brand clothing! The store is well organized and has a large selection of shoes, jackets, denim, and accessories. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there are always plenty of stylish pieces to browse through. Definitely worth checking out!

  I wanted to review my experience yesterday as this was my first time and reading the previous reviews made me a little hesitant to come here. I had some clothing to sell and gave them a call before going as it was a Saturday afternoon and saw some people had issues with being turned away even during the week. The girl who answered the phone was very kind and told me to absolutely come down and that the process would take about an hour and a half. I dropped my clothing off and within that time frame received a text my offer was ready. I came back and finished the check out process with another girl who was just as kind and offered to walk me through the digital process as this was my first time. She also offered to donate the remainder of my clothing on my behalf which I was very appreciative for as I didn’t have to make an extra stop. While the girls here are on the younger side, everyone I encountered was very professional and kind. They were very busy and I never had to wait at any point in this process. To the people complaining about the payout, this is a thrift store… If you’re looking for “fair market value” for your items, take the time to take pics, create a listing, haggle with people on the internet and maybe you’ll get what you’re looking for. I personally would rather not. All in all I had a great experience here and would definitely return.
