  Inexcusable customer service and disrespectful treatment of a loyal customer I have always considered this Bridgeport location my home store, stopping by every time I am in the area. Out of my collection of 9 firearms, I have proudly purchased 7 from this specific location. Unfortunately, my recent experience with a sales representative named Terry has completely destroyed my trust and loyalty. When I handed Terry my EDC permit, he picked it up, threw it back down onto the counter, and rudely accused me of having a fake permit. Not only was his behavior entirely unprofessional, but his logic made zero sense. Anyone walking into a major sporting goods store knows that background checks, DEA/FBI screenings, and signed forms are standard procedure ,why would anyone with any sense attempt to use a fake permit? When I picked up the card and disputed his claim, he took it to another employee, Carl. I have worked with Carl many times in the past, and he quickly resolved the situation by explaining that the sticker on the back of the card was missing ,likely damaged from wear/tear and needed the card needed to be replaced. While Carl handled the situation professionally, Terry never once apologized for his hostility, false accusations, or disrespectful handling of my property. I raised this incident directly with the Assistant Manager, Mike, but I am leaving this review to warn others. Terry’s poor judgment, terrible customer service, and unacceptable attitude have driven away a customer who has spent thousands of dollars at this location. I expect management to address this immediately.

  This has been a truly memorable experience in a retail store for me in a long time. It is all due to the assistance of Woody in archery. He is exceptionally knowledgeable and was handling multiple tasks simultaneously, yet maintained his composure. I am immensely appreciative of the service I received and will definitely shop here again! Thanks again Woody!

  Has everything for your sporting goods needs. Items for hunting, fishing, camping, cooking, cute gifts for everyone including their Douglas dogs. Has a bowling alley with aquarium theme and restaurant. Lots of parking.

  Michael in the fishing department was super helpful, all the guys were. I am somewhat familiar with the ins and outs of fishing but these guys really made everything super simple. Picked out a rod/reel combo for snappers , he gave me several options and let me choose what I thought was best. Great advice overall, really appreciate the knowledge.

  Bass Pro Shops is absolutely spectacular! The moment you walk through the doors, you are immersed in a beautiful, beautifully designed outdoor wonderland that makes shopping an experience all on its own.The customer service here is truly exceptional, but the absolute highlight of my visit was Kawchar. I went in to purchase a crossbow, and Kawchar went above and beyond to make sure I was completely taken care of. He didn't just sell me the equipment; he took the time to personally show me exactly how to operate the crossbow safely and properly. His expertise, patience, and top-tier customer service made me feel completely confident in my purchase.If you are looking for great gear and a team that genuinely cares about their customers, this is the place to go. Huge thanks to Kawchar for making this a 5-star experience!
