  I had another great experience at Bass Pro Shops today! Bridgeport location I especially want to recognize Thiago, who has been consistently friendly, kind, and helpful every time I’ve visited. I’ve been to the store multiple times, and every time Thiago is there, he always makes me feel welcomed and is happy to help. His positive attitude and great customer service really stand out. It’s not often that you come across someone who is consistently this pleasant and helpful. Bass Pro is lucky to have an employee like Thiago! I truly appreciate the way he treats customers and wanted to take the time to recognize him for it. Thank you, Thiago, for always being so nice and making my visits a great experience

  Most racist people that I ever met working at this store. I went to go purchase a firearm since it was my first time. There was this young guy who approached me and looked at me as if I’m crazy. I told him I wanted him to give me some insight for A beginner then he spoke to me like I didn’t belong here sarcastically. He was very condescending with his responses and unprofessional. He shouldn’t even work there to begin with. He told me if I had pistol permit which I displayed it then he said that I may not have the time to reach the state since they were closing soon. Then he took my permit and told me to wait so I can fill out the paperwork’s. A minute after that he tells me that he can’t sell me a firearm cause he smells weed and was implying that it was me. I don’t even smoke weed in the first place. He just didn’t wanna sell to me based on racism. He should be fired for how he treated me. He treated me like if I was q criminal I don’t know why. Anyways I wouldn’t recommend this store to anyone. Get your firearm elsewhere!

  Visited Bass Pro Shop in Bridgeport today for the first time with my 93 yo mom. She and my family grew up in Bridgeport but haven’t lived there in years. The visit was great. Hunting and fishing equipment was not what we were looking for, but the entire store was a wonderful experience-from clothing, to kids’ and pet toys, to boats, and so much more. As well, the decor was just perfect for any outdoor experience. In addition, staff were so cordial and helpful including getting my mom a wheelchair and escorting us out to the parking lot (Carole kindly helped us with that). Quite simply, the Bass Pro Shop provided a truly interesting and fun shopping experience. Will visit again soon 😊

  This place is every outdoors man and womans literal wet dream for everything fishing not matter fresh or saltwater. Not exactly all the close for me but I still pick going there rather then the Cabelas location in Manchester which is just a bit closer for me. Anyway beside fishing, hunting,boats, and ATV'S they have plenty more for everyone. That have great snacks and candy you wont find anywhere else. Clothing for kids thru grandparents. And even if your just bored and want to go without spending its still a good time. Watching the fish in the tunnel aquarium. Or checking out all the taxidermy animals on the little mountain or even just to get ahead of things and see what options of gifts you can start saving for because holidays will be hear before we knkw it. Definitely check it out and enjoy 😉

  It was our first time visiting this Bass Pro Shops location, and we were blown away by the incredible wildlife displays and the huge selection of outdoor gear. The store itself was an experience! We also needed to exchange a fishing combo, and JG provided outstanding customer service. They went above and beyond by helping us match the original price while allowing us to keep one of the pieces we wanted. Their willingness to help and find solutions made the entire process easy and stress-free. Highly recommend!
