If you're looking for someone who will genuinely invest in one of the most important purchases of your life, ask for Araceli.
My girlfriend and I first visited the Westminster Shane Co. back in January, just to get a feel for what was out there. Araceli greeted us with warmth and patience from the moment we walked in, spending hours with us, really listening, asking thoughtful questions, and helping us figure out what styles would suit best. There was never any pressure, just a real desire to help us find the right fit.
What set Araceli apart was how she stayed engaged long after that first visit. She kept in touch in a way that felt genuinely helpful rather than salesy, guiding me through all the tough decisions that come with choosing an engagement ring. And when an issue came up with the ring I had originally selected, she went to bat for me and helped me find an even better option in the end.
Araceli is kind, knowledgeable, and truly cares about the outcome for her customers. I couldn't recommend her more highly, if you're shopping for an engagement ring (or any jewelry), do yourself a favor and ask for her.

My husband gave me money for Christmas to upgrade my wedding ring that we purchased at ShaneCo in 1984. They offer a trade in program. I took the ring and the certificates in at the end of January. Waited a VERY long time while the sales associate tried to locate information in their system. Meanwhile I looked for a new bridal set. I wanted a white gold band with 3-4 diamonds and could only find men’s bands that I liked. When she finally returned she told us it would be a couple of weeks to find out which if they could size down the band I chose. Also, she said it was going to take some more research information in their system on my original set. Fast forward a couple of weeks. We had confirmation that they could size down the band I wanted. I had my ring and paperwork again, prepared to make the trade, pay for and order the new band. Once again, we were told to wait while she looked up the skew number in my original ring. Again we waited and waited! Finally, she came back and told us some more research would be needed. In the mean time, she would place the order for the band and send us an invoice to pay for the new ring online. So, we left a little irritated with the further delay in the transaction. I received the invoice about a week later but it was not itemized. Just had the amount they said we owed for the ring. I expected to see the value of the new band, the value of my original ring and the resulting balance due. It felt shady. I emailed the associate multiple times to discuss the invoice and never received a response. I never received word that the ring was available for pickup so obviously ShaneCo decided they didn’t want my business so I will take my business elsewhere. For a long-time iconic Colorado company, I am extremely disappointed with how I was treated. Don’t expect them to honor your trade-in if you want to upgrade a piece you previously bought from Shane. They obviously don’t want this kind of returning business,

Our third purchase from Shane Co in Westminster, and Lisa Medina made it memorable, ensuring that we'll return for the next time to celebrate. Lisa had to tend to three different customer parties, but managed very well by making us feel welcomed, valued, and also provided very clear guidance, and worked fast to help us find what we wanted. She never upsold (we bought something in our price range even though we considered rings above the range), but never any pressure. She listened and understood what my wife wanted, and managed about a dozen different rings that my wife considered--all making the experience comfortable. We walked out feeling so successful that we celebrated with lunch! Thank you, Lisa!
