  today on 9/15/26 melissa was an amazing help and a very kind soul i had left my books out back in Colorado after making a quick stop to at this JCPenney for a charger i had left my books and caught a flight back to my home town in Arizona and these kind women managed to get them back to me real life savers and super sweet thanks again!! Great customer service!

  On August 18,2026 I forwarded the following email and as of September 7, 2026 my email has never been acknowledged. Dear JCPenney Customer Service, I have been a longtime JCPenney customer. Unfortunately, my experience today at your Westminster, Colorado, store left me very disappointed and questioning whether I want to continue shopping at JCPenney. I received a Liz Claiborne blouse as a birthday gift from my elderly aunt. She does not provide gift receipts, and unfortunately, the blouse was too small. I went to the JCPenney store near my residence in Westminster and found the same blouse in the next size up. I simply wanted to exchange the blouse for the correct size. I was told that I would need to return the smaller blouse and purchase the larger one separately, which I had no problem doing. However, I then waited approximately 20 minutes while the cashier attempted to locate the original purchase by checking sales from different stores. When he was unable to find the transaction, he refused to proceed with the exchange. What was most upsetting was the way the situation made me feel. I was not asking for a refund or attempting to take advantage of your return policy. I was simply trying to exchange a birthday gift that did not fit. I understand that there may be policies that employees must follow, but I did not appreciate being treated as though I was doing something dishonest or suspicious. I left the store feeling embarrassed and as though I had been treated like a thief. As a longtime customer, I believe customers should be treated with courtesy and respect, particularly when they are making a reasonable attempt to resolve an issue. I hope JCPenney will look into what happened and provide some clarification regarding how situations like this should be handled in the future. I would appreciate a response regarding this experience and hope JCPenney will take this opportunity to ensure that other longtime customers do not leave the store feeling the way I did.   Walked in to get my ring sized with the care plan I purchased. Jenn would not help me after looking at me a few times. Brenda had to ask her to help me. Upon Jenn helping me, she could not find my care plan that I purchased. They said since they switched to a new system I would not be able to be helped with this, unless I had proof. Brenda tried helping. Jenn was not helpful at all👎👎

  Worst JC Penny’s. No one wants their big ugly blocky building in this neighborhood. I think you should pack up this waste of space and find another place cause we don’t want you here.
