- KBKatherine BroadworthJun 24, 20261.0I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with JCPenney's rewards program and customer service. I had accumulated over $50 in JCPenney rewards and used them to purchase a dress online. When the dress arrived, it wasn't quite what I needed, so I took it to the store to exchange it for other clothing items for my family. To my surprise, both the employees and the manager informed me that if I exchanged or returned the dress, I would lose all of the rewards I had used on the purchase. The rewards could not be transferred or applied toward another transaction, even though I was still purchasing JCPenney merchandise. I find this policy incredibly unfair. I was not asking for cash back or a refund. I simply wanted to exchange one JCPenney item for other JCPenney items. Instead, I was told that over $50 in rewards would essentially disappear. A rewards program should reward customer loyalty, not penalize customers for making a legitimate exchange. This experience has left a very negative impression of JCPenney and makes me much less likely to shop there in the future.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making the whole shopping experience smooth and enjoyable. I will definitely be coming back here whenever I need to pick up some new essentials.

Checkout took a little longer than expected, but staff was polite and helpful when I had questions. Good selection, especially if you catch a sale. Got 3 cast iron pans for $30 on the memorial day sale.
