  Asked where homecoming dresses are to a sales associate, she pointed to the sales rack... I'm wearing a $70 t-shirt and psycho bunny jeans &!#@$ DO I LOOK LIKE I SHOP AT THE SALES RACK. Dillard's it is then.

  We did the first walker program in the Nordstroms kids area and Miguel was so awesome! Poor dude was by himself and had a bunch of people he needed to help but he still had a smile on his face and didn't make it seem like it was a bother at all! Got my little one his first pair of walking shoes and he loves them! Miguel gave us a balloon, and a photo and a little plush to celebrate his first walking shoes! Highly recommend to other parents with little ones starting to walk!

  It is nice to see that there is a young sales person out there with good work ethic, professionalism, and a positive attitude. Michaela and The At Home department provided superior service for me today. Restores my faith in Young folks! I have noticed over time that many of the sales people at Nordstrom and elsewhere have frowned upon the need to do a sales return, ask a question, or do anything out of the ordinary. I appreciate that Michaela had a great attitude and offered to help me with several things, with a smile on her face and efficient and accurate work. Well done, Michaela.

  Absolutely ridiculous customer service experience. I purchased a watch for my boyfriend a few days ago, and the sales associate who helped me at the time was kind enough to tell me that I could bring it back anytime to have it resized by ANYONE working there. So I came back to have it resized. There were two sales associates behind the counter. One walked over to help another customer, so I approached the other associate, Dana, and asked if she could help me. Instead of helping me, she pointed toward another associate, Michelle, and told me I could wait for her. I ended up standing there for 20 minutes watching Dana help three different groups of customers while I waited for Michelle to finish with her clients. When Michelle finally came over, she apologized and helped me. I even asked Michelle if Dana was working in a different department and that’s why she couldn’t help me. Michelle told me no they were both in the same department. Then why was I left standing there for 20 minutes for something that should have taken a few minutes? It honestly felt like I wasn’t considered worth helping because I wasn’t making a new purchase or generating a commission. If someone walks into your store needing assistance, you should treat them with the same level of respect whether they’re buying something that day or simply coming in for service on a previous purchase. Customers should not feel like they’re being treated differently because of the way they look or where they come from. I hope management takes this seriously and reminds their staff that every customer deserves to be acknowledged and helped.
