Frequently Asked Questions About Farmer's Engraving
Do I need an appointment?
No. We offer one on one customer service for all size projects either in person or over email. You are welcome to stop by the shop anytime during our business hours Monday through Friday 8:30 to 5 without an appointment. You are also welcome to correspond with one of our team via email and ship to and from our location for the remote clients.
What can you engrave?
Anything. Upon working with one of our team members we will let you know the outcome of engraving any item. Some of the surfaces we work with are metal, glass, stone, plastic, leather, acrylic, crystal, plated items, stainless steel and many more. Some of our staff have been here two plus decades and are still amazed at what comes through the door. We rarely turn anything away unless the outcome will not be satisfactory.
How long does engraving take?
Our usual turn-around time is within a business week or less, however we do offer up to same day and while you wait service with an additional rush fee and appointment. Please contact us with rush requests.
How much does engraving cost?
Every project is different which in turn makes every price fluctuate. We like to bill on time spent so that it is a fair price to both parties. Please call to get a quote!
Do you have items available for purchase to be engraved?
Yes! We have a huge selection of gifts in all sizes and price ranges, so you are sure to find just the right gift for any special occasion, anniversary, retirement, weddings, holidays, or new born!
Can I submit my own art?
Yes!
Do you do hand engraving?
We replicate hand engraving daily, however true hand engraving is not as wanted any longer because of how expensive and time consuming it is. We have formulated ways to incorporate drawing and other hand engraving elements using our machines to replicate the exact look of hand engraving without the steep cost.
Can you ship my order to a different address?
Yes, we ship nationwide.
Can you engrave pictures, logos, or artwork?
Yes. Clipart, logos etc. work well. We can engrave photographs with some limitations. Please contact us to discuss further.
Can you engrave firearms?
Yes, this requires an appointment with strict rules to follow. Please call us to discuss further.
