- GSGregg ScottAug 1, 20265.0Best frame shop in Colorado! I’ve been trusting them since they were in downtown Denver. Huge selection, high quality materials and handwork. Reed, the owner is not there as much, but Tim the designer is incredible and really knows color and design. Do yourself a favor and give them a try!

He is a nice man and we had a very constructive and cordial conversation. They are obviously having issues with their credit card processor, which led to the refund being sent to a card that neither of us could recognize. I expressed my frustration that the communication was so poor and that none of the employees were empowered to rectify the situation, which was very easy once Reed was at the store. He responded well to my comments; he has not been able to work on a consistent basis due to personal reasons. He wrote me a check for the refund and we are all square. As I expressed in my original review and as is evident from other reviews, they do good framing work. I'm going to write this one off to a difficult time for them and very poor communication, which I believe they will address. We’ve used Masten before and while expensive, the work has been fine. However, we recently had work done for which we were double charged. The work was done in early May and it is now the end of July and I am still trying to get refunded for the double charge. I have called multiple times and even gone to the store twice. Every time I have been told that only the owner can handle a refund, yet the owner never seems to be there. A week ago, they finally realized that they had refunded to someone else’s card. However, a week has now passed and zero contact, zero apologies and no refund. This is infuriating. How do these people run a business! Lots of quality frame shops AVOID THIS ONE!!
