Highly Unethical experience here!! Don't write a lot of reviews, but all so shady- be warned. Went in post major surgery to explore possibily trying natural Kratom due to their HUGE sign in the front-versus continuing with big pharma to manage pain. Had limited knowledge and just recommendation and picture from a friend, and was completely honest about that. The picture -they did not specifically carry. Was readily advised for a while by a young gentleman, well over 30 minutes- (one being their in house made brand that 'everyone loves' and 'flys off the shelf') I bought 2 not very cheap products, including the inhouse brand- ONLY because I was told that I could bring it back with receipt, but I should 'at least give it a try'. There are signs hung about return policies- I questioned it, and was told detailed stories of a small number of people who had adverse reactions, and if that happened just to bring the receipt, no problem-everyone loves the in house brand, cant keep it on the shelves. That signs are mainly for people 'trying to bring back almost empty vapes.' Tested a very small amount of one product and it just make me feel ill- did more research, and saw that what I was sold on, was not at all close to the picture I had, even the names of what it is were all were totally different- Worst off, the not in house brand one, turns out to be completely synthetic!! despite deceptive packing and recommendations. For some people, this may work, for me it did not. On label, in-house product is totally different, but called to say I did not want to be the jerk and bring back two open products, got ill off the other, and should research this more first before opening other bottles.? This is when the story changed-returns had to be within 24 hours; which I had bought 2 very different things specifically not to be taken together at the same time. I for sure would have not bought two to try within 24 hours!! No time to properly test, and secondly- in the lenghtly discussion it was made known nothing would be taken for a few days-I am 100% 24 hours was never mentioned, as I would have not bought anything that day. I was told to dillute the open one that made me ill in water and try it again. And after a supposed call to the manager, the same person who advised all this time called back, said I should 'sell it'!! -Or bring it all back and leave it there with the receipt (cash) and on another day whenever the owners showed up, a very small chance of store credit would be looked in too(?). Ultimaltely, everything has warnings on the box, even big pharma stuff-I know that, which is why I didn't take much and I don't buy things I cannot return. But perhaps employees who are going to selling such products at a place like this and are freely giving all kinds of advice to people should be clear, especially promoting inhouse made products-on what they selling... And WHAT exactly the return policies are- no way I would have even bought one thing that day KNOWING full well I would not even take it for at least 3.. read a few good reviews, which is why I picked here not knowing much, but to start out with being 'sold' on something nowhere near the picture I brought in by exaggerating the return policy and be encourgaed to do something like 're-sell' one of their products when I did need to return it to get my money back, is highly unethical. This is not a new employee who doesn't know- (did get a new person when I first called, and had to call back day 7 after purchase to get anyone to help; although this one said he can't take this stuff either, but a close family member has great sucess with pain management) I am really glad I did not take the made in house stuff based what was witnessed in just this one intereaction. Heard it was great!! But I heard a lot at this place. If you don't know what you are talking about, then don't say anything at all maybe, I don't know... Please do not be shady, dishonest and/or inconsistant about your return policies.
