  My experience with Andrew's Jeweler's was top-notch. My (now-fiancé) and I came in to shop for an engagement ring with no experience or prior knowledge. Immediately, Julia was very helpful in getting us started with some options. My fiancé was able to try on a number of styles and sizes to get a real sense of what she wanted. I came back on another day to meet Bill and was pleased to find that Julia had taken the initiative to write down all of my fiancé's preferences. Bill was then extremely helpful and crafted a ring to her exact specifications with available inventory. Bill made me feel very comfortable in a subject that was foreign to me. Within the same day, Bill had the stone set, and the ring was ready for purchase. It was flawless on the first visit, which I appreciated. The end result: she said YES and has a ring she absolutely loves! I never hear the end of how much she loves that ring! Thanks, Andrews! - Nick

  I had some estate items to sell, and Andrews was an excellent choice! Transacted with William on 2 occasions -- he was nothing short of professional, patient, experienced, knowledgeable and kind.   If a business owner's response to a negative review begins with "we pride ourselves," that's often a cue to look elsewhere. I called with a simple question: "What would it roughly cost to replace a diamond in a ring band?" Rather than offering a general range or explaining the factors involved, I was repeatedly told, "I cannot give you a price." What should have been a brief, helpful conversation became unnecessarily argumentative. You have more than 30 years of experience and are GIA certified, yet couldn't provide even a rough estimate for a common repair? I told you the type of opening and that I already had the diamond. An experienced jeweler should be able to offer at least some general guidance. If the goal was to get me into the store, the approach had the opposite effect. For what it's worth, I purchase a considerable amount of jewelry. Had the conversation been handled professionally and with a genuine desire to help, I would have come in and likely become a customer. Potential and current customers should be greeted with courtesy, patience, and a willingness to assist. A little humility and kindness go a long way. Based on my experience—and the number of similar reviews others have posted—it may be time to reconsider how customers are treated. Every interaction is an opportunity to earn trust and future business.
