  I was excited to visit this location to pick up a surprise gift my boyfriend had purchased for me online. The associate helping me, Giana, asked for my name or my boyfriend’s name, and I provided both. She then asked if I had the confirmation code or the purchase email. I explained that I didn’t because it was meant to be a surprise gift. She told me she needed the email as a “precaution,” so I texted my boyfriend to ask for it. After waiting a few minutes without a response (he’s a doctor and is often in the OR for 9–12 hours at a time, so he’s never readily available), I asked, “Can I just give you his email address or phone number instead? I know both.” She immediately said yes. That was frustrating because if either of those options would have worked from the beginning, it would have saved time and avoided interrupting someone who was at work. Good customer service is about helping customers find the easiest solution, not making them jump through unnecessary hoops. Once she located the order, she placed the bag on the counter. I opened it, excited to finally see my gift, and before I had even really finished looking at it, she asked, “All good?” in a tone that came across as impatient and dismissive, as though I was inconveniencing her. At that point, I asked for her name because I knew I wanted to share my experience. After giving me her name, she didn’t say another word as I left. This was my first time visiting this Gorjana location, and unfortunately it will be my last. I’ve always had wonderful experiences at the Century City location, and I’d much rather make the drive there than return to this store. My experience with Giana felt cold, impatient, and far from the level of customer service I expected.

  I went into here Thursday morning and had a great experience! Jennifer and Colleen listened to my request in replacing and expediting the delivery of a special bracelet for my friend. They were very attentive and handled the situation with extreme kindness and professionalism. The bracelet will arrive Saturday much to friend’s delight…and mine as she is also my boss! 😂😊

  The service in this location is absolutely amazing! I went in without any expectations and was absolutely blown away by how helpful and kind Colleen was. And the quality of their product is amazing! I would absolutely recommend Gorjana when looking for beautiful jewelry from a Southern California-based brand (and if you're in the neighborhood, check them out from this store)!
