- CLCherry LSep 29, 20261.0I came in a few days ago and I wasn’t greeted and the lady with dark hair looked like she was the manger she didn’t offer me assistance and there was a guy with glasses standing there talking with other associates and didn’t offer me any help DO BETTER!!!!!

I’ve shopped at several different EXPRESS stores, and while the service isn’t necessarily amazing, they do acknowledge you and touch base with you several times throughout your shopping experience, which I appreciate. They also offered to get me a fitting room, which was nice. I ended up walking out with nothing this time, but that really had more to do with pricing than the store experience. I’ve noticed that EXPRESS frequently offers better deals online than they do in-store. Because of that, I’ll often come in, try things on, and see what I like in person, but then purchase the exact same items online because I can get them for less. It’s unfortunate because I would much rather support the retail stores and make my purchases in person. However, at the end of the day, I’m going to shop wherever I can get the most for my money, and right now that seems to be online. Overall, I appreciate that this location acknowledges customers, offers assistance, and provides a welcoming experience.

The staff seemed to judge customers based on their appearance, which is unacceptable. There is a woman, usually at the register (often with her hair in a neat bun, likely in her late 30s), whose behavior stood out. When I asked about the price of a dress, she came over and whispered something to the associate who was helping me. The interaction felt inappropriate and unprofessional. Retail staff should treat every customer with respect, regardless of how they look. I hope management takes this seriously and works on improving both professionalism and inclusivity.
