- BBbravo00711Aug 11, 20261.0Unsatisfied, it appears I ordered a firearm online that showed in stock but is actually out of stock and will not be stocked again. My first time purchasing a firearm from Sportsman's was a couple of years ago and on the day I picked up the firearm and completed the paperwork when it was released to me the young man helping me out didn't give me any paperwork. I had to ask for my copy of the approved document from the DOJ. The staff said I didn't need it. Of all my firearm purchases the FFL has always given me the copies of my paperwork especially the one showing ownership. Terrible. This was my second attempt and will most likely be my last time shopping with Sportsman's which is sad because it's the only location we have here in San Diego. Thankfully there is a Bass Pro shops opening in the near future. Good luck shopping at Sportsman's. I also tried calling this location multiple times and was hung up on more than once, line would not go through. I had to call their customer service center 1 800 number.
