  Got credit for my birthday from a relative. Found a pair of sandals. Tried to use my credit card for the remaining balance 2 cards was declined several times. I asked to use another register because my cards have never been declined (grateful for). Other register also declined my cards. They said if the gift card goes through, it must be my credit cards. So they voided the transaction then I stopped at GTM for some items and my card worked as it should! I also never received an alert from the banks that there was something wrong with my cards. It was in fact DSW! What a waste of my time! Too bad I couldn’t cash out my gift card! Otherwise, I’d never step foot in their store. No pun intended.

  Me and my daughter came here for her bday shopping spree. It’s so much better to be able to try the shoes on in store than shopping online. Almost always have to exchange. Cielo checked us out and was very friendly and helpful. She helped my daughter set up a DSW account so she would get points. She also took the time to Manually add her Bday so she would get a gift next year. It’s always such a plus to have a good associate in store. It makes you want to come back. Cielo did a great job. They always have an amazing selection for everyone. I have been here a couple times and I always find something I like. My daughter has been here a couple times in the past months. It’s the first shoe place she wants to go.

  I rarely leave negative reviews, but my interaction with Angie, the manager, was extremely disappointing. Her communication style was rude and unprofessional, and it created an unpleasant experience. A manager should lead by example, and this behavior does not reflect good leadership or customer service. I strongly encourage upper management to reevaluate this situation.

  I'd like to publicly thank the store manager, EJ, for going out of his way to help me with a difficult shoe problem. I don't need to go into all the details, but let's just say that I had been frustrated for a number of months, and EJ took care of it, turning an unhappy customer into a happy customer. On top of that, he was patient, proactive, creatively helpful, and just nice. He demonstrated the definition of really, really good customer service. During our interaction, he had the chance to share about his family, his classwork, and his career aspirations. And based on today's visit, I have no doubt he will go quite far. Thank you!
