  This is for the men's shoes department upstairs. My hubby and I were there at around 12:35 pm today. I have a credit card with Nordstrom, but I have an offer from another travel card for $50 in rewards on certain purchases. So I had to find him the shoes? They were busy at first, but then got slow. There was this employee who dressed quite casually, not like the rest of them, who I was thinking was just a customer, who greeted us. He was wearing glasses, slim-built, and Asian. Then later on we accepted the offer for help, and I said that my hubby wanted to check his size on their machine there. Hence, the Asian employee helped to use it but it was not working properly, and I said it's okay; my hubby wanted to try on one of the shoes. With an unpleasant tone, he said that we should go to the women and that they would be able to help him as they also had the equipment to check his size, and that they had men's shoes there too. I said we were already there, and my hubby wanted to try the shoes. He came out with one box of shoes, took it out, put the laces on like forever, and then handed it to my hubby. There was no engagement, and it was pretty awkward cause he had a mean voice. I was like, what did I do? Maybe they were profiling their shoppers. He was trying ask my hubby to buy the shoes, and it became uncomfortable. We finally said that we still wanted to think more about it. We just left. It's still 4 because I know thst the rest of the store are providing excellent service.

  I like shopping at this store. It is spacious and bright, with lots of selections of women’s clothing especially dresses for special occasions. There are racks with discounted items and selection is not bad. The other day I shopped at the lingerie section and the lady who worked there was so nice and patient.

  Liked that they have the baby seats and strollers show area with a staff member designated to inform you on it. It makes all the difference to see them, lift the different baby seats and compare their weight, and try the fold/unfold of the different strollers. It is a great service to have from Nordstrom. Thank you.
