  Looked for mens clothes, found better quality fir less at Macys. So many of the nordstrom men's shirts were dirty ? Already worn. Loccitaine items on shelves were actually full price, no discount.

  Worst customer experience ever at this location. I was attempting to return two travel-size fragrances. One of them had small holes in the packaging because I had tried to open it before changing my mind and deciding not to keep it. The other fragrance had been opened and tested, but I did not like it. The employee initially agreed to return one item but refused the other because of the damaged packaging. I calmly asked for clarification because I was trying to understand the difference in how the two items were being handled. I also made it clear that I was completely willing to keep the item with the damaged packaging and that I did not have an issue with the policy itself. However, during the interaction, the employee became dismissive and told me to “please stop arguing,” in a tone that felt disrespectful and patronizing. I felt as though I was being spoken to like a child rather than a customer simply asking a question respectfully. I then asked to speak with a manager. The manager apologized and explained again that the damaged item could not be returned due to the packaging condition, which I understood and accepted without issue. My concern was never the policy itself, but rather the way I was treated during the interaction. The manager mentioned that she would speak with the employee, but the experience left me feeling very uncomfortable and unwelcome. I even expressed that if possible, I would avoid returning to Nordstrom Rack because of how I was treated. I believe customers should be treated with respect, even when store policies cannot accommodate a request. FYI; employee name is Elaine.
