- BNBrandon Nebel2 days ago5.0What an amazing little gem. I had driven by this location many times over the years and I had no idea this little gem had popped up this year. It's a great art store, well organized with a ton of inventory. My wife and I found everything we needed and more. I'm definitely going back to get some air brush paint very soon. The neighborhood is lucky to have an art store like this. I love supporting independent stores like this over a Michael's type store. Plus Michael's doesn't carry the level or supplied Blicks does. If you're in the area and love art I highly recommend stopping by. Oh and the employees were cheerful and very helpful. They also seemed knowledgeable when answering our questions.

There was only 1 register person (which is not the issue, I understand they could have been understaffed or someone on break) but she was the slowest person possible working. To start, she was sitting in a chair and rolling around in it. She couldnt have scanned the items slower even if she tried. At one point she was trying to reach for something and instead of getting out of the chair, she just struggled for a moment trying to get it until she FINALLY decided to get up out of the chair and get it. After a split second you would think she would just get up instead of continuously trying to reach. Just seemed very slow and lazy. I didnt get her name but if you go when there's a blonde woman sitting in a chair, ask if someone else can check you out.
- CTChelle TJun 13, 20261.0There was an audible gasp when our art teacher announced there was a new Blick store in San Jose, 11 miles from us. I was looking forward to a new art supply store nearby. I had a list of paint colors wanted to replace, some brushes and perhaps yet another sketchbook. I walked in 10am on a Saturday. No "hello or how can I help you." Instead is a security person following me as I go through each aisle to find items. Finally after 15 minutes of uncomfortable scrutiny I left emptyhanded. New store, do better. I think I'll drive further for service or just order online.
