  Sima the mgmr @ clairmont location went above and beyond to help me, customer service is not what it was when I was growing up but SIMA truly wanted to help me figure out a problem with a very bad gift card scam I really appreciate her taking the time to look into this issue and see that it’s a scam , she found the issue please be aware of buying gift cards at Vons, they will not refund you , most of the time they end up being bad go directly to the store to buy a gift card lesson learned. Sima was kind courteous & listened to the issue and she was never rude! I recommend this store it was so refreshing to talk with someone who listened and truly wanted to get to the bottom of this issue Thank you Sima!!!!

  Very disappointed with management here. I frequently shop at this location because its close by my house, always had a pleasant experience until recently. I asked the wrong person for help, Kristin who is one of the store managers was so rude and bothered when I approached her for help in glasses, she immediately ignored me and called for another associate to help me. I felt like a bother to her and ended up leaving come on for such a small store be more welcoming and friendly! Lead by example. Sad to see people with poor attitudes with a leadership role. Truly Disappointing.

  I’ve been a loyal Nordstrom Rack customer for years, but my recent experience at the Clairemont location means I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on. My husband and I went in to exchange an unworn birthday gift with its original receipt and box, linked right to our account. Unfortunately, the associate, Andrea, kept looking at us as if we had stolen the items, making us feel completely humiliated. This is the second time I have had this kind of unwelcoming experience at this specific location. If you choose to shop here, just be entirely certain you won't need to make a return or exchange. I will gladly drive a few extra miles to the La Jolla location where I have always been treated with respect.

  The customer service here is surprisingly terrible. If you ever need to return or exchange anything be ready to be treated like a criminal. The associate Andrea and her manager, treat customers in a fashion that does not fit Nordstroms reputation for customer service. It’s tragic how badly the company has fallen. I will not shop here again.

  I Was looking for a homecoming dress for my daughter and never have I been treated so rude by a MANAGER!! All I did was ask where I can find them she was so upset that she had to stop what she was going to show me, I was so embarrassed that I even asked I was apologetic for interrupting her and she ignored me. Her name was Kristin. She then passed me onto someone else to help. I ended up leaving without a dress and went to Mission Valley Rack instead. So sad to see someone so unhappy to help a customer when that is your entire job.
