  Very disappointed with my experience at Nordstrom Rack. I tried to exchange a defective item, but the manager, Scott, gave me a hard time instead of helping. A simple exchange for a defective product shouldn’t be this difficult. Poor customer service and definitely not what I expected from Nordstrom Rack.

  I am a frequent Nordstrom Rack shopper and have always enjoyed shopping at your stores. However, my recent experience at your Poway/Ramona location was deeply disappointing and left me feeling humiliated. Upon entering the store with my 14-year-old son, we were immediately followed by a loss prevention employee. The attention was so noticeable that it was difficult not to conclude we had been singled out before we had even begun shopping. As a customer, and more importantly as a mother, it was heartbreaking to have my son witness what felt like racial profiling. No customer should be made to feel as though they are under suspicion simply because of the color of their skin. Experiences like this reinforce harmful stereotypes and send the message that Black shoppers are viewed as potential criminals rather than valued customers. I am a college-educated, hardworking member of my community who chooses to spend my money at your stores. My education and profession should not determine whether I am treated with dignity, nor should anyone else have to prove their worthiness to shop without being stereotyped. Every customer deserves to be treated with respect, regardless of race. I hope Nordstrom Rack takes concerns like this seriously by reviewing the actions of its loss prevention staff and ensuring employees receive meaningful training on implicit bias and equitable customer treatment. I would appreciate a response regarding how this incident will be addressed so that no other family has to endure a similar experience. I have been a loyal customer, but this experience has left me questioning whether I feel welcome shopping in your stores.

  Always had a great experience here when it comes to customer service. The shopping experience can be a bit messy in the clothes section at times compared to other NR, but usually good. Parking is easy. Wish they would bring back the separate return line again.
