- KLKippi Leonard2 days ago1.0Very disappointing experience with Blick. I originally ordered my materials from Blick online. FedEx lost the shipment, and the replacement Blick arranged was then backordered for weeks. Because I needed the materials for my work, I drove three hours to the San Diego store to purchase them in person. What I discovered was that the exact same product was priced substantially higher in the store than on Blick’s own website. In my case, the difference was more than $30 per item. This wasn’t a competitor’s price. It was Blick versus Blick. I called customer service afterward to cancel the backordered replacement and explained what had happened at the San Diego store. They offered me a $20 coupon. As a professional artist and longtime purchaser of art materials, I find this incredibly disappointing at Blick. I understand that online and retail pricing may differ somewhat, but a difference of more than $30 on the identical product from the same company is excessive, especially after I had already driven three hours because my original Blick shipment was lost. The $20 coupon did little to address the actual pricing discrepancy. My advice: check Blick.com before buying anything in a Blick store. You may be paying substantially more for exactly the same product.

The young lady who helped me, Charlotte, was so friendly and knowledgeable- she helped me find everything I needed for my next project and even gave me some pointers. 10/10- will definitely be coming back here for more supplies in the coming weeks! 💖💖💖

- GAGracie AAug 10, 20265.0So much to see and so many options for different types of creatives. They had a large sketchbook special, buy one get one free. I like when art stores have a section to try out pens with sufficient paper pads, which they had. Pleasant customer service.
