  Very disappointed with my experience at this Sacramento DSW. While we were at the California State Fair, my girlfriend's shoes became uncomfortable, so we stopped in and I purchased a $200 pair of Birkenstocks. Before we even left the parking lot, I realized I needed the next size up. We immediately went back inside, grabbed the correct size, and asked for a simple exchange. Instead of helping us, the employees initially refused because they had just closed, even though we were already inside and there was no announcement over the intercom that the store was closing. After eye rolls, deep sighs, and acting like we were a huge inconvenience, they reluctantly completed the exchange. Before we even left, one employee rudely said, "For future reference, we close at 6." When I got home to Turlock after wearing the sandals, I discovered they had given me two different colors. Since the display boxes only contain one shoe and employees retrieve the matching shoe from the back, I don't understand how a mistake like this happens—especially after how irritated they seemed about helping us. Now I'm left with a mismatched $200 pair of Birkenstocks because of their mistake. I'm hoping someone from DSW reaches out to make this right because this level of customer service was extremely disappointing.

  I bought a pair of boots from dsw 3 years ago for $60 they were my favorite boots ever. I eventually need a new pair but I moved out of the area. So I could go to dsw. I got a pair from home Depot for $140. I had to return them because they were so uncomfortable. Then I got a pair from Target for $60 omg they were worse! I was driving home and out of the corner of my eye I say a dsw sign and was like O thank God. I went in and got a super nice, stylish, comfortable pair of boots for &74

  I bought a pair shoes at the checkout the manager asked me do you want to free spray for shoes I accept the free spray then I sawed she changed me for that 0 star

  It was my first time visiting this store. There was a young Black woman working there who treated me very poorly. She spoke to me rudely; I tried to get her attention multiple times, but she kept ignoring me. I have never encountered such unprofessional staff before—and I was just about to purchase a pair of shoes worth $200. I ended up walking out of the store empty-handed because she did not treat me with courtesy. I told her that if a customer calls out to you, you are supposed to acknowledge them—to which she simply replied, "no. Thanks for really good experience. Good staff of the world .
