  I came into alo today for an exchange and my size was medium in sweatpants men, and they told me they have it in stock so they gave it to me. I then came home to look at my points and realized they gave me sweatpants but in female and not male, not the ones I ordered! This is a complaint because I was so excited to get it and I also bought a hat but then came home and they gave me the wrong sweatpants and I now have to go back to the store another day which is exhausting.

  I had a very disappointing experience today 5/8/2026 at 10:15am at the Roseville location. When I approached the counter for a return, the employee didn’t acknowledge me at all until I placed my return bag on the counter, at which point she simply said, “What?” Her attitude throughout the interaction felt cold, dismissive, and unprofessional. The return process took unnecessarily long, and basic customer service — like greeting a customer or communicating politely — seemed completely absent. Even after the transaction was completed, she abruptly said “bye” with no effort to be courteous or helpful. I actually intended to continue shopping afterward, but the experience was so uncomfortable that it completely changed my impression of the store. I even considered returning the rest of my purchases because of how poorly I was treated. High-end retail is not just about selling clothes — customer service matters just as much as the product. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below expectations.

  Someone needs to hire a new group of employees here. Yesterday I walked in to pick up my online order around 430 pm. I picked out a couple more items to try on to purchase. When I walked in the the fitting room an African American girl was working the fitting room. She looked at me as if she was disgusted of me. Put her finger up and told me to come. Didn’t say one word to me. She placed the items in the fitting room and was purposely taking forever. She the turned around with that same look and asked “name”? And walked away. I have felt so little coming to this store and it’s not the first time. There are only two girls that have been nice to me and one was the manager and the other was sohela. Sohela has always been so sweet and helpful when I come into the store. I stopped shopping here because of the customer service, and I decided to give it another shot yesterday but nothing has changed. Alo needs to do better.

  I usually order online (easy, fast, no shipping issues), but I decided to pop into the Galleria on Saturday, May 2, and I’m so glad I did. They were having a sale (dangerous in the best way 😄), and of course, I ended up loading up. What really stood out though was the customer service. I had purchased a pair of shoes and socks the week before, and they told me to bring them back in for a price match. No hassle at all, I ran home, grabbed my items, came back, and they took care of everything seamlessly. Walked out with my price match AND more goodies (because… obviously). Such cute clothes, such a great team, and just an all-around amazing experience. Definitely reminded me why I love this brand so much! 🩵
