- CCC C5 days ago1.0Bought some stuff then came back to return it. Employees were rude. Mostly overpriced. Not great quality stuff just like most other brands that want to charge premium prices for polyester. ✌️ will find a better store to shop at.

- MGMelanie GuralnickSep 21, 20265.0I have not shopped at JC Penny's for 30+ years, but stopped in out of curiosity while doing some mall shopping/getting my steps in. It was actually more upscale than I remember, but do not confuse me saying that with it is now upscale. It is not. But it is a lovely store to shop for decent clothing brands organized well and easy to find what you like in your size, which can't be said about TJ Maxx, Marshalls and Ross. The prices were reasonable with sale prices on many racks throughout the store, and it had a well kept, tidy and attractive look across all departments. JC Penny's makes Kohl's look like a disaster area...which it pretty much always is. I tried on a few tops in the dressing room which is unmanned (unpersoned?) and was happy to find that it wasn't like a bomb went off as it is, ahem, at Kohls. I liked the tops and when I went to check out the sales clerk was super friendly and we enjoyed a nice chat. She asked if I had a JC Penny's credit card (no) and when I told her I did not want to get one because it is not good to buy things on credit that you can't afford, she gave me an extra discount anyway. My experience could not have been better and for that reason - 5 stars!
