  I had a very disappointing experience at both the La Quinta and Palm Desert DSW stores. I went there to return an item, but the staff and manager were rude and unhelpful. They refused to process my return, and I did not feel that they treated me with respect. I expected better customer service and a more professional experience. I hope DSW will improve the way customers are treated.

  Very disappointing experience with the staff at the DSW Palm Desert and La Quinta location. My mom purchased a pair of clearance shoes, and after we got them, we realized they appeared to have already been worn. My mom never wore the shoes. We returned to the store only a few days after purchasing them and explained the situation, but the staff were extremely rude, disrespectful, and unhelpful. The way they spoke to us and handled the situation was very unprofessional. They refused to help us and told us to call the customer service number at the bottom of the receipt. I called and spoke with two customer service representatives, who then spoke with their manager. They were very kind, respectful, and helpful and actually listened to the situation. They resolved the issue by providing a gift card. Thank you so much to the phone customer service team for treating us with respect and resolving the problem. I really appreciate their help. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the employees at the Palm Desert and La Quinta store. The difference between the customer service and even manager over the phone and the treatment we received in the store was unbelievable. The in-store staff were extremely rude, and I hope management addresses how customers are being treated at this location.

  Great value, select choices, easily identified. Great place to shop. Employees keep all the shoes and rows of merchandise in tip top shape.

  This shop is impressively well-stocked, offering a fantastic variety of products and excellent pricing. The layout is very open and the shoes are clearly displayed, which makes it much easier to pick out your favorites. On top of being clean and highly organized, the staff members are consistently friendly and eager to assist you.
