  I have been a loyal Lane Bryant customer for the past 15 years. I often refer my friends here and exclusively buy bras here. I haven't been to the store in person since 2020. Be aware (I just found out) that they were bought out by a venture capital firm that year and nothing is the same. I would recommend shopping somewhere else. I drove two hours to this store to be fitted, as my weight had changed, and buy at least four new bras. Something I used to love about Lane Bryant is that I could buy some "pretty" bras. They had more than just beige and black bras. I could have some lace and some bright colors. When I walked in I was surprised to see that almost all the bras were black and beige. I also noticed that they were all the formed foam cups which always distort and pucker after being washed. So I asked about the designs I always buy that are a more sheer stretch lace, and was told they were on a small display .... there was only one style I recognized. The rest were in some kind of polyester that looked like wet paper bags and there was one other lace one that had seams across the cup. I tried them all and they were terrible. Another thing I noticed was that almost all of the bras were DD and DDD. I was really having to dig to find any G, F, or H bras. The whole point of going is because they have those sizes and nobody else does. I can buy DD and DDD at any clothing store. I finally bought four bras because mine were completely thrashed and I had no choice. No sales, no buy one get one 50% like they used to always have. They had one sale, but they were out of stock in my size on the second bra and I needed them for a trip so I couldn't wait. The bras are okay but the foam cups pucker after being washed like before. Also, the one lace bra I bought was so horribly painful that one of the first times I wore it, I looked and saw that it was rubbing me raw. They had put boning in the side of the bra that is a huge piece of plastic almost the exact shape and size and thickness of a wooden popsicle stick. Every time you bend or twist the ends of the plastic scrape your skin with the lace. It was so painful! I had to cut the seam and pull the boning out. The other bras I have bought before had plastic boning on the side but it was very thin and flexible and helped the bra hold its' shape and not roll up while still moving with your body. Anyway, this will be my last trip to buy bras here. Time to find a new place to shop.
