I had a really disappointing experience at this American Eagle outlet.
I bought 3 T-shirts last week and came back to return them, but the store refused my refund because the tags were not attached — even though I still had all the original tags with me. No one informed me about this strict policy when I made the purchase.
Honestly, this makes no sense. You offer a 30-day return policy, but expect customers not to remove the tags at all? That means you can’t even properly try or wear the item. That’s unrealistic and very inconvenient.
If tags must stay attached, they should at least be designed in a way that customers can try the product comfortably or reattach them.
This experience really changed my opinion about the brand. I was planning to buy more items, but after this, I won’t be coming back.
Very disappointing.

La atención al cliente es pésima
Fui hacer una devolución, solo hice preguntas y la encargada que se supone que debe ser más amable que estaba en el turno de las 4pm super grosera. Luego luego te dice que puedes llamar a atención al cliente para lo que quieras quejarte.
Qué horror de tienda cero les recomiendo ir. Ahórrense la pésima atención.

Been buying pants from AE for years and im went to the store to make a return before 30 days and store manager wouldn't accept return even tho the past were not used with tags. Horrible customer service and I will never buy from AE again. Its not worth it to buy cheap pants and get cheap service

Fraudulent return policy. First time shopping here and didn’t know what their policy was - bought a pair of jeans that ended up becoming way too loose after a couple hours so I tried to return them the next day (with the tags/receipt in hand). Manager working on 1/18/2026 did absolutely nothing except be condescending and literally POINT out the little piece of paper by the register that states the return policy & say “it’s on the back of the receipt” and “they should have told you when you bought them”. No one told me. I’m not looking at the pieces of paper around your registers. She refused to give me her name (classic), and told me to call customer service. They were somehow less helpful and said they could only assist with online orders and to handle it in store. Long story short, customer service is non-existent at this store and I’d avoid shopping here at all costs.
