I visited ALO and 4 other similar brands around Fashion Island in one evening. ALO is The Best! Beautiful design, great fit, Top sales staff, sincere, considerate and helpful. I went in browsing and ended up getting 4 sets of amazing fits. Will go back to this location.

I completed an in-store return at this location, and the $150 credit was placed onto a store card. Shortly afterward, the entire balance was depleted without my authorization. When contacted, customer support confirmed in writing that my balance was redeemed on an entirely separate, unauthorized account. Despite confirming the funds were used on a different account, Alo refused to investigate the platform security breach or restore my stolen balance. They also refused to provide any basic verification details for the unauthorized transaction. I was left with zero merchandise and zero store credit. A formal consumer complaint has been logged with the California Attorney General's Office regarding their refusal to honor return credits. Do not leave returned funds sitting on store cards with this brand.

I am extremely uncomfortable and upset with the way I was treated by a store associate during my visit. It was my birthday, and I was simply trying to have a good time, enjoy myself, and shop without any issues. Instead, the associate repeatedly walked back and forth around me, kept looking at me through the clothing racks, and appeared to be intentionally monitoring my every move. At one point, she sat in a corner on her phone while continuing to watch me, and she repeatedly gave me looks that felt judgmental and hostile. Her behavior was excessive, intimidating, and made me feel as though I was being followed and watched because of my race. I felt singled out, disrespected, and racially profiled on what was supposed to be a day I was celebrating and enjoying. This experience completely ruined what should have been a positive birthday experience, and I believe management needs to take this complaint seriously and address the associate’s behavior.
