  Came from out of town for a quick outfit for a party my clothes didn’t make it and for under $20 I have a perfect outfit for my party!! Thank you Plato’s!!!

  This location took my merchandise and failed to actually pay me or have a manger/supervisor reach out . The employees or owner there must have some type of scam going on to steal people’s merchandise. They say to use a text to pay and that’s where you will never actually get the funds from the transaction. Eveyone from this location was no help not only did they not pay me but they refused to answer their phones for over a week . Hoping I would forget out the whole ordeal . I absolutely would not shop here and I would stay far away from the workers at this location everything gave me a bad feeling when I walked in .

  I love shopping at Plato’s Closet Monterey. The variety of clothing and accessories is amazing and I always find great bargains that make me feel like I’m discovering hidden treasures. The store has a lot of character and the friendly staff make browsing feel relaxed and fun. It’s definitely my go‑to thrift store near me for unique finds.

  Absolutely love the selection at Plato's Closet Monterey. Walking in feels like a treasure hunt – every rack is filled with unique finds from vintage jackets to current trends. The variety is amazing and the prices are great, making it my go‑to thrift store near me. If happiness had a location on Google Maps, it would be here. Highly recommend for anyone looking for fresh secondhand clothing.

  Workers were rude and unwelcoming, especially the girl with bangs and eyeliner working on 6/26. She was on her phone and I had to say something to catch her attention. She also vaguely answered my questions in a sarcastic and stand off manner. Other workers also did not explain the selling process. I had to ask them even though I told them I had never sold clothes to them before.
