  It was their members only sale and I couldn't buy half of what I had taken up to the counter. I spend a lot of money at Nordstrom's I just don't have their credit card.... and you can bet that I won't ever have one after that experience!

  This review is for the Nordstrom at The Shops at Mission Viejo. This review is a couple of months late because I left for a trip to South Africa shortly afterward and only recently remembered to write it. In May, I took my daughter to buy her a pair of shoes as a birthday gift. Unfortunately, our experience with an employee named Nazanin was disappointing. From the moment we approached her, she never greeted us or made us feel welcome. She brought my daughter the shoe size we requested, but when my daughter tried them on, I thought they looked a little too small. I asked Nazanin for her opinion, and she rather dismissively replied that they “looked fine.” She seemed irritated that I wanted a second opinion instead of simply accepting her answer. I then asked if we could try one size larger. She immediately told us there wasn’t a larger size available and walked away without any explanation. Something didn’t feel right, so I asked another employee for assistance. She was friendly, happy to help, and within a few minutes found the larger size that Nazanin had said wasn’t available. Thanks to her, my daughter was able to try the correct size, and that was the pair we ended up purchasing. Had I accepted Nazanin’s answer, Nordstrom would have lost a sale because we would have left and bought the shoes elsewhere. I understand everyone has off days, but customers deserve to be treated with courtesy, honesty, and professionalism. What disappointed me most wasn’t just the lack of friendliness—it was being told a size wasn’t available when it actually was, and then having the employee walk away without saying a word. Thankfully, another employee stepped in and provided the excellent customer service I normally expect from Nordstrom. I hope this feedback helps ensure all customers receive that same level of service at the Nordstrom in Mission Viejo.

  wasn't even a shopper, was just reading a book in the cool store. jasmine was a SWEETHEART and made sure i felt comfortable hanging out in the store. incredible service, especially considering i wasn't yet a customer. jasmine is a gem
