  Came in with a suitcase that was damaged through normal use and explained my situation. The employee cut me off and told me with no explanation that there was nothing they could do. I pointed out I'd previously had a warranty claim through them, and I'd like to hear my options. He repeatedly told me they couldn't ship a cracked suitcase, but I was welcome to drive to Woodland Hills. I asked why I needed to drive to Woodland Hills, and stressed I just wanted to understand what my warranty options were. He answered by telling me that there were 2 Samsonite stores in Los Angeles to server 11m people. I reassured him I did understand this is a major city, but I did not understand what the relevance of a different location was. Overall, he was rude, condescending, and unhelpful. I asked him to calm down, I'm not trying to pull one over on him, I just wanted understand what my options were and could he please clarify? He insisted he was calm. The assistant manager walked up, and I asked her to explain my options. I mentioned how the other employee was being aggressive, that I was just trying to understand Samsonite's warranty policy. He continued to make snide comments including "oh, now she's ignoring me!" (while helping other customers) when I refused to acknowledge his hostile remarks. My guy, we're talking about suitcases, not the national defense budget. It's not all that serious. In addition to the outright rude customer service, both employees were wearing tshirts (to which I even asked "do you work here?" when I first walked in because he looked like another mallgoer) and in the assistant manager's case, leggings. This whole experience was extremely unprofessional, frustrating, and kinda funny to see a grown man so emotional over someone politely asking about suitcase warranties. Anyway, I will certainly never be purchasing a bag from Samsonite again, in part because of the lack of professionalism but also due to the fact that my carry on suitcase broke under normal use.

  Bad experience overall. The Asian employee who attended us had a very arrogant and condescending attitude and acted like he was doing us a favor the entire time. Customer service felt cold and unwelcoming, which completely affected the experience.

  Greg was very friendly and helped with a warranty repair. Samsonite honored the warranty on an old bag. Would buy Samsonite bags again.
