I’ve been a loyal LEGO customer for almost 20 years and have spent thousands of dollars over the years, but I’ve never had an experience like this. I went to return an unopened LEGO set that I had purchased just the day before. Instead of being treated with respect, the staff treated me like I was doing something wrong. I asked to speak with the manager, Gema, and explained that I’d been a longtime customer who had spent a significant amount of money with LEGO. Her response was simply that “we have a lot of customers like that,” and she just stared at me. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. What makes this even more frustrating is that LEGO’s return policy clearly states that unopened items can be returned within 90 days with a receipt. I had my receipt, and the set was purchased the previous day, yet my return was still refused. This was by far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had at a LEGO Store. As a longtime loyal customer, I expected much better. Unfortunately, this experience has made me question whether I’ll be returning to this location.

    - [ ] Absolutely the worst manger in Lego store history HER NAME IS GEMA, I had an incredibly disappointing experience at the LEGO Store. I came in to return a brand-new, unopened LEGO set just one day after purchasing it, and what should have taken a few minutes turned into an hour-long ordeal. The manager, Gema, spent nearly an hour calling three other LEGO stores for guidance. According to her, every one of those stores said they would have accepted the return, yet she still refused to process it. I wasted an hour of my time only to leave with no resolution, despite having an unopened item purchased the day before. The most frustrating part wasn’t just the refusal—it was the complete lack of common sense and customer service. If three other LEGO stores were willing to honor the return, there is no reason this store shouldn’t have done the same. The inconsistency in how customers are treated is unacceptable. This experience has seriously changed my opinion of LEGO’s customer service. I hope the company reviews how situations like this are handled and holds managers accountable for providing fair, consistent treatment to customers.

I have never had such a bad experience at a Lego store. I would advise anyone looking to purchase Lego’s to go anywhere but here. The manager Gema was rude and blatantly disregarded Lego policy.
