  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ralph Lauren Purple Label is truly in a class of its own. The quality, craftsmanship, fabrics, and attention to detail are exceptional. Everything has a sophisticated, timeless look that feels elegant without being overdone. The tailoring is especially impressive—the fit and construction are noticeably superior, and the clothing looks and feels incredible. The staff is also knowledgeable, professional, and provides the kind of personalized service you expect at this level. For anyone who appreciates classic men’s clothing and exceptional quality, Purple Label is hard to beat. One of my favorite luxury clothing lines. Five stars!

  I was quite hesitant to write a bad review, but after the 7th time I walked into this retail location I can’t hold back. First is the initial entry of this location. I would describe it with three words unfriendly, judgmental, and lastly uncomfortable. You would think walking into any retail store someone would at least greet you. Judging by these reviews I’m not off. You have to approach someone for them to help you and I’m guessing if you don’t look a certain way they won’t take you serious. The rest of the retail staff look at you confused with a blank stare on their face. What ever happened to the Ralph Lauren experience? I just moved from Los Angeles to La Jolla and I was excited for a beachside location. I’ll pass from now on. I guess basic retail etiquette is out the door.

  I came in near the end of the day to try on sizes and exchange a sweater I had ordered online and was really excited about. I tried to be mindful of the time, but the experience from start to end was so unwelcoming. No one acknowledged or greeted me when I walked in. The exchange required two separate transactions (a return and a new purchase), but I was only handed a receipt for the new sweater. I stepped back inside right as they were closing up just to confirm if an email confirmation was sent for the return. I was really polite and tried to make it quick—again, mindful of the time—but the General Manager smirked, dismissively told me "it takes a few days," and literally laughed when I tried to clarify. I understand end-of-day fatigue, but leaving a customer feeling like a burden for shopping in their own store and for asking a basic, reasonable question is unacceptable—especially from the store manager. I left feeling worse about my day and my purchase than when I walked in. Not the kind of service you would expect from a brand like Ralph Lauren.

  This place is getting worse and worse. Is anyone reading these comments? Staff is non existent. I asked the cashier whether there was a style available in big and tall. He couldn't check because it was another catalog item!!!!??? Close the damn place. Re open when serious about the business. First the viejas calamity now this?

  Today my best friend and I visited this location. We are on a girls trip in La Jolla California. Sadly we are very disappointed in the treatment we received from the female employee. Approximately 1:30pm to 1:40 pm we walked into the store browsing around. This particular employee was an older Caucasian woman, the only one we encountered was so rude. She was conversing with an older lady pleasantly speaking about her children etc. When she turned to us her whole demeanor changed, she didn’t greet us and then began to walk right by us not saying anything at all. I had initiated a conversation by saying hello. This lady barely looked at us hesitantly and begrudgingly saying hello back and sliding by me as if to make sure not to touch me. I know that things have changed but unfortunately some things stay the same. We decided to walk out and not support this business. Your employee displayed disgusting behavior and needs diversity training. We are here, we are everywhere, we are professional black women and don’t deserve this type of treatment. We will live and shop wherever we choose. Unfortunately it is not a surprise. Get it together. I would give zero stars if I could!
