  I have accumulated a collection of pieces from gorjana over the years and normally have the best experience in store. I went into the Irvine Spectrum location to swap out a few tarnished pieces and the woman assisting me looked me up and down and asked “did you even buy these directly with us?”. After I answered yes, she followed up by saying, then these would be on your account so I’ll need to pull that up. I at that point hadn’t remembered where each of the pieces came from. Both my husband and I purchase there often so I asked if I could write the emails down but she wouldn’t let me. After standing there a while so she could sort through the different accounts to find proof of purchase, I asked if there was a policy change and she said yes but I can’t seem to find that anywhere online. She found the items on my accounts except for one which I found to be odd since I had an email receipt which was connected to my account. Either way with a major policy change, I would expect there would be better training. The question of whether I even bought the items directly with gorjana along with the unwelcoming tone and energy felt very discriminatory. She had asked me to bag the tarnished item and as I proceeded to she raised her voice saying wrong one to which I’m not even sure why she had me doing this in the first place. Just overall, this employee was not kind and simply deters me from ever wanting to go back to this location.
