  Today, I was taking my nieces shopping for their birthday when I had an unpleasant experience with a cashier whose name tag I believe read Ernestine (Assoc 0199). While I was paying for my items, she made inappropriate and racially insensitive remarks that were completely uncalled for. To be clear, I am Asian. When she called us up to the register, instead of greeting me professionally, she waved her hand directly in front of my face as if to suggest I could not see. She then made a passive-aggressive comment, saying, “Did you see me waving at you? I was just wondering if you can see.” I responded that I could see. Her register was positioned near the returns area, and I initially assumed she was assisting with returns. After signaling me over, which was when I realized she is helping with check out as well. She continued with a dismissive tone, pointing toward the return line and stating, “That’s the return line,” and then pointing to another register, adding, “And that’s for returns.” Her demeanor throughout the interaction was rude and unnecessarily confrontational. Overall, her behavior was intimidating and inappropriate for someone in a customer service role. I chose not to escalate the situation at the time because I was with my nieces and wanted them to have a positive birthday experience, without being exposed to conflict. This experience was disappointing, and I believe it should be addressed, as this type of conduct is not acceptable in a customer-facing position.

  Gen in the Beauty department has amazing customer service, she really help me out by finding the cologne that smelled the best on me, she was very good at explaining the details and smells about the colognes they had, i just know next time i go in i’ll be looking for Gen

  You guys need to get it together. You have ONE area for purchases. It's exhausting to walk all the way across the store only to walk all the way back. And there was some potluck going on so they kept calling employees to attend that. There were only 2 registers open! Thank God I found what I needed. But your petite section sucks. Get cooler, more fashionable clothes instead of old lady junk with ugly patterns.
