Since my son kept asking, I asked to speak with the floor manager. Her response was that if they gave one to my child, they would have to give one to every child, even though there were no other children around at the time. What disappointed me most was not the balloon itself, but the way the situation was handled. The attitude felt dismissive and unkind, and the balloon was handed to me in a rude manner afterward. I chose to stay calm for my child’s sake, but I believe customer service and kindness toward families should matter more than the cost of a simple balloon.
