- SSSetiMay 10, 20261.0My 2.5-year-old son saw a couple of balloons and started asking for one. I politely asked the cashier if we could have one, but I was told they were not for sale. Since my son kept asking, I asked to speak with the floor manager. Her response was that if they gave one to my child, they would have to give one to every child, even though there were no other children around at the time. What disappointed me most was not the balloon itself, but the way the situation was handled. The attitude felt dismissive and unkind, and the balloon was handed to me in a rude manner afterward. I chose to stay calm for my child’s sake, but I believe customer service and kindness toward families should matter more than the cost of a simple balloon.

I was trying on a few pairs of sunglasses—completely normal shopping behavior—when a staff member abruptly told me I could not touch too many items and then locked the display case in front of me. The tone was unfriendly and the action felt unnecessary and disrespectful. I felt singled out and unwelcome, as if I had done something wrong simply for browsing. This is not the level of service I expected from this store. If there are specific policies about handling merchandise, they should be communicated clearly and politely to all customers—not enforced in a way that makes people feel uncomfortable or targeted. I hope management takes this seriously and improves staff training. I would not feel comfortable returning based on this experience.
