  I had a really disappointing experience during my visit to American Eagle. An associate named Janette was on her phone and seemed completely uninterested in being there. It honestly felt like she was more focused on whatever she was doing on her phone than the guests standing in front of her. She barely seemed engaged with customers and looked miserable throughout the interaction. She also seemed bothered whenever she had to ring up guests, even when no one was asking her for any additional help. Her attitude made it seem like simply checking customers out was an inconvenience. As a guest, it was uncomfortable feeling like I was bothering an employee just by making a purchase. Thankfully, an amazing manager named Aaliyah completely turned my experience around. She was extremely friendly, welcoming, and attentive. She took the time to make sure I was taken care of and actually made me feel valued as a customer. Her positive attitude and professionalism were such a noticeable difference. Aaliyah definitely saved my experience, and I really appreciated how she handled everything. Unfortunately, Janette’s attitude and the amount of attention she was giving her phone instead of the guests really took away from what should have been a simple and enjoyable shopping experience.

  Justin who works on Friday around 3pm doesn’t not like to work. Asked him about the price of something and did not want to check for me he was focused on folding instead of customer service. His female coworker was sweet and attentive

  Clean and organized except for the clearance section. Helpful staff.
