  Cheap quality and awful customer service. I bought this and it literally broke after one time use. They did not want to replace it or do anything because it was past return window.

  JCPenney Mattress Warranty The Issue: Breach of a 10-year manufacturer's warranty and deceptive corporate practices. The Breakdown: - Defective Product: A mattress purchased in 2021 developed severe manufacturing defects and holes by 2025/2026, well within its active 10-year warranty window. - The "Rebate" Scam: Corporate customer service first claimed the warranty required me to go into a retail store, buy a completely new mattress out-of-pocket, and wait for a "reimbursement." This is a sales trap, not a standard warranty replacement. - In-Store Misconduct: Attempted to comply in-person at a retail location. The Store Manager (Amy) became obstructive, demanded random card security codes, and fabricated a blatant lie that "all Apple Pay machines are down" to deliberately kill the transaction. - After Store Visit: After escalating the store manager’s misconduct directly to JCPenney CEO Marc Rosen's office, the Store Manager bypassed corporate channels and made a phone call to the original account holder to complain that the complaint "was not a good look for her store." - Contractual Refusal: While the Corporate Resolution Team offered to waive the 15% restocking fee, they completely refused to process a standard zero-dollar product swap. Instead, they weaponized confusing fine print to demand a full out-of-pocket payment upfront, ultimately refusing to honor the 10-year manufacturer's contract at no cost. The Outcome: JCPenney used deceptive verbal rules to try and trick us into running a fresh $649+ credit card charge under the guise of a "reimbursement," only to issue a final written rejection once we demanded a standard zero-dollar swap. They do not honor their legal consumer contracts.

  Watch out, they place a sign saying $10.99 on an item and at the cashier they tell you it costs $39,99 pretending that the sign was for another item. Easy trick and Brian, the manager, tells you that he’s right and you’re wrong, no argument. Proper rip off! Thanks, will never visit anymore.
