I drove from Torrance to South Coast Plaza specifically to purchase a baby shower gift for my nephew. Unfortunately, the item I wanted was out of stock. The sales associate apologized and said the only option was to place an order, assuring me it would arrive within four days — Wednesday or Thursday — which worked perfectly since I planned to pick it up the following Saturday on my way to Irvine. I never received any updates from the store. On Saturday morning, I called to confirm the item had arrived and was ready for pickup. To my surprise, I was told it hadn’t arrived and might show up by Tuesday. No apology, no explanation. I was simply told to call other stores to see if they had it in stock. I called Pasadena and Century City — neither had it. I then contacted the corporate office and was informed that no California store had the item, and only New York and Chicago did. The representative told me there was nothing that could be done and that I would just have to keep waiting. Throughout this process, I repeatedly asked for someone to contact me with updates. Not once did anyone call. Nearly two weeks later, I finally received a call from the original sales associate. She apologized and offered to personally hand‑deliver the gift to the recipient. At that point, I had no choice but to accept — I couldn’t show up empty‑handed yet again. Unfortunately, I had already attended two events where gifts were being opened, and I had nothing to give. It was embarrassing and completely avoidable. This experience fell far below the level of professionalism expected from a top‑tier jewelry brand.

The diamond in my fiancée’s engagement ring started to shake. When we came the lady in front said that no one can help us and we need an appointment and the policy changed a year ago. Which is weird as we got our ring 6 months ago and now she claims that appointment needed for anything including a purchase. We called to San Diego store and they claimed that no appointment needed and we are welcome to come anytime.

I had such a great experience at Tiffany & Co. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and I never felt pressured. They took the time to answer all of my questions and made the whole experience feel special. I purchased the Return to Tiffany Silver Heart Tag piece as a gift for my niece, and she absolutely loved it. The jewelry is beautiful, and the outstanding customer service made the entire experience even more memorable. I'll definitely be back!

Had a terrible experience with the manager Marcus. Surprising that he's a manager with his inadequate approach to service and care at a luxury brand like Tiffany. Tiffany management, do better. He was constantly looking at his phone, didn't to seem to care about showing the products in the store and showed no effort in customer service. Tiffany & Co could do a lot better with improved training and providing better service if they want to sell their items (they actually have a good selection). I actually wanted to buy more pieces but was put off by the service. I ended up buying pieces at Cartier instead given the Cartier SA actually took the time to show the products, explain and treat you like a valuable customer. BIG NO to Marcus here.

Poor customer service. Definitely tarnishes the experience of Tiffany & Co as a brand
