I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at the Chanel South Coast Plaza boutique.
I was on the waitlist for a specific bag for approximately eight months. When the bag finally became available, I was told they were unable to reach me and sold it to someone else. I never received a voicemail, text message, or email informing me that my bag had arrived.
After I expressed my disappointment, the store manager personally contacted me and assured me that they would locate the same bag for me within one to two weeks. Unfortunately, that promise was never fulfilled, and I never received any follow-up or update.
Luxury shopping is about more than the products—it’s about trust, communication, and customer service. Sadly, my experience with both the sales associate and the store management was disappointing. After waiting eight months and then receiving promises that were not kept, I no longer felt valued as a customer.
I expected a much higher level of professionalism from Chanel. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this boutique.

I came as a walkin yesterday. It was a Sunday, the line wasn't so bad when I got there. I only waited for almost an hour. When it was my turn, the SA assigned to me was Taylor Bishop, she was welcoming, and she knows what her doing and she made sure that I get the bag that I want which I did before it got sold out. I was so happy after I left the store and I could'nt wait to go back again for my next purchase. 🥰

In 1910, Coco Chanel opened a millinery shop at 21 Rue Cambon.
She built an empire on simplicity. On elegance. On the discipline of the little black dress.
She liberated women from the corset.
She gave them No. 5.
She gave them the Classic Flap.
She gave them the silhouette of the modern woman.
I audited your digital threshold on July 20, 2026.
What I found was not elegance. It was not discipline. It was not modern.
It was a 2005 AOL-era dial-up connection dressed in a tweed jacket.

The Score
29/100.
That is:
Lower than Bvlgari (45).
Lower than Harry Winston (49).
Lower than Vacheron Constantin (38).
Lower than Audemars Piguet (28... wait. Actually, 29 is higher than 28, but still abysmal).
Lower than Cartier (27? 29 is higher than 27. But still deep in the failure band).
Lower than Louis Vuitton (35).
Lower than Ralph Lauren (22? 29 is higher than 22. But who's counting).
A Chanel No. 5 bottle $200+
A Chanel Classic Flap Bag $10,000+
The time it takes to load a Chanel hero image 14.8 seconds
You wrap the double C around mediocrity like a silk scarf around a rusted hinge—and call it craftsmanship.
You charge $10,000 for a bag—and you cannot load a photograph of it in under fifteen seconds.
The bag takes 180 steps to craft.
The image takes 180 seconds to render.
One is a testament to craftsmanship.
The other is a testament to contempt.
You sell the little black dress—simplicity perfected.
Your website is complexity defeated.
One is a masterpiece.
The other is a misdemeanor.
You sell No. 5, but your digital threshold smells of neglect.
This is not luxury.
This is a confidence trick.
This is a logo performing CPR on a corpse.
Conclusion:
Coco Chanel built her house on three things: simplicity, elegance, and discipline.
She would not recognize what you have become.
She would not tolerate a crooked stitch.
She would not tolerate a misfit hem.
She would not tolerate a poorly placed clasp.
She would not tolerate a 14.8-second LCP.
The House of Chanel has abandoned the discipline.
You are not Rue Cambon.
You are a souvenir stand on the Champs-Élysées, selling Eiffel Tower keychains to tourists who don't know the difference.
