Open since 2014, Sportsman’s Warehouse in Chico, CA is near Bidwell Park, Butte College, Chico State, and the Chico Nature Center. National gunsmithing services are now available! If you like hunting, we’re here to get you all set up with everything you need. Popular pursuits include black tail deer, waterfowl, dove, turkey, and pig. If fishing is more your speed, we have all of your tackle to catch the bass, salmon, trout, or striper that you’re after. We’re happy to tell you the conditions at hotspots like Feather River, Lake Oroville, Lake Almanor, Sacramento River, and Thermalito Forebay/Afterbay. We also carry plenty of supplies for watersports, camping, backpacking, and hiking. Our shop services are available to spool reels, mount and boresight rifle scopes, clean guns, cut arrows, tune bows in our 10-yard archery lane, and anything covered by your Firearm Service Plan. No matter the weather or time of day, we’ve got the seasonal accessories to fit your outdoor adventure. While you’re in the area, be sure to check out local events like the farmer’s markets, Johnny Appleseed Days, Parade of Lights, Oktoberfest at Sierra Nevada Brewing, cycling events, and downtown concerts.

- VTVang ThaoAug 8, 20261.0Services were so BAD, I went there to look at some Rangefinding Binocular for hunting season and I went up to one of the worker and he kind of ignore me and said someone will help you when they can. But he wasn't doing anything. So I went back to the glass case and waited for someone to come over and show me the Rangefinding Binocular, I stood there for over 20 minutes. And I look back over at the other counter and there were 4 workers laughing and not one of them asked if I needed any help. I never experience anything like this as a customer, because when a customer is waiting at a glass case I'm sure the customer would like to look at something. If there was a Zero Star I would have given it Zero. Hopefully upper management will look at this review and have a talk with the workers around the Hunting and gaming section. I was going to potentially buy a $1000 Rangefinding Binocular for hunting. But will order it online from Bass Pro. Date: August 8 2026 Time: 4:40pm - 5:00pm

He took the time to listen, explained my options, and made sure I was taken care of. It’s clear that he truly cares about his customers and wants them to have a great experience. Customer service like Kevin’s is hard to find these days, and he made what could have been a frustrating situation a very positive one. I knew there was a man there who knew the answer to my question, the lady said he was in the middle of organizing. How is it hard to take just one minute to answer a question?
